Immaculate Ochieng is the dedicated Head of the Health Department at KOEEDO. A results-driven Social Worker and Project Manager with over a decade of hands-on experience, she is a steadfast advocate for public health, women's empowerment, and holistic community development. Holding a Diploma in Social Work and Community Development, her expertise spans maternal and reproductive health programming, stakeholder coordination, and the rigorous Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) of health initiatives designed for marginalized populations.

Her extensive career is anchored in impactful leadership and grassroots mobilization. From 2008 to 2012, Immaculate served as a Project Manager for Health & Women Programs within the Department of Health. During this pivotal tenure, she successfully spearheaded expansive community health projects and vital maternal outreach programs. Her adept management of project budgets and strong partnership-building skills enabled these initiatives to reach thousands of vulnerable beneficiaries. Since 2013, she has continued to expand her impact as a specialized Social Worker across various organizations, focusing on comprehensive needs assessments, targeted case management, youth engagement, and social inclusion advocacy.

She has significantly broken down barriers to healthcare access for women and marginalized groups within the communities she serves.
